This is the original dress style from our successful Kickstarter launch years ago. It's in regular rotation in the shop—a customer favorite.

This fabric: We sourced Made in the USA 20 oz. cotton blend has some recycled poly to help keep shrinking to a minimum. Do you remember that favorite college sweatshirt you had back in the day? This is that same classic, thick, structured material, brushed on the inside. Snuggly warm, drapes away from the body. 

Longer than average sleeves are designed to be rolled to show the soft, brushed side of the fabric. Dress isn't meant to be tight/snug. If more fitted is your thing, you might want to order a size down or choose a different dress entirely. Think "sweatshirt" for this one. You wouldn't expect a sweatshirt to cling.

Machine wash cold, and air dry or tumble dry on low. Avoid higher temps when washing and drying.

Are you a fan of wool? Fabric made in Italy, thick and plush, these hats emerge from the scraps our Boiled Woolen Sweater that are too precious to waste. We only sew as many as the scraps make possible. They have chunky, thick, richly sculpted tactile details. 

Did we say "wool" enough? To avoid any misunderstanding, if you have ever had allergies/sensory issues with wearing wool, these hats aren't for you. Wool is both on the outside of the hat and against your head.

This hat is an average adult head size, with stretch to go over most heads without feeling too tight. We designed a looser fit for less hairdo smush, but will still cling and stay on.

This all purpose size seems to fit the bill on all but the smallest adult heads. If you know yours runs small, feel free to reach out, we can help!

Hand wash COLD and dry flat if needed. Do not put in the dryer.

Plaid selections in this brand classic change seasonally. A nostalgic wrap skirt design offered in seasonal plaids.  Fit is adjustable, your size will fit not just the size you choose but likely the adjacent sizes as well. It's the easiest fit we make.

A semicircular swath of fabric sends the plaid radiating in several directions as it wraps around the waist for impressive visual effect. 

This skirt is a true wrap style, overlapping in the front. Slotted opening for threading the belt through. It can be tied into a decorative bow at the back OR the ties can reach back around to the front for a shorter tie. 

Yours may be made to order, allow 1-2 weeks to sew before shipping.

32" long skirt hits around mid calf on average heights. It wraps into a tall A-line (even the smallest size requires 3 yards of fabric to complete), evoking silhouettes popular in the 1970s. The suggestion of apron ties nods to a few other decades. It has a vintage air, but is sewn from fresh, new material. 

It is designed to tie high, at your natural waist.

Choose fit by your waist size. If you have a skirt from a past order, please note the skirt pattern itself has not changed, only the way we ask you to specify your size.

Some colors have an additional center back seam on the larger sizes due to being narrower rolls of fabric ("fun" and "treat").

Machine wash cold on delicate. Smooth with hands while damp and dry flat or draped across a drying rack. Avoid hanging from the waist while wet to prevent distortion. Iron with cotton setting, with steam is OK.

Another classic skirt shape with three stepped, gathered tiers with a moderately full A-line shape. Elastic waistband. This seersucker version does not have pockets. These seersucker cottons have a vintage look and are naturally puckered by design. Yarn-dyed plaid. 

100% cotton seersucker plaid.

Sale tops are "original" length (when made-to-order, these styles come in 2 lengths), which is shown in the photos on model. Moderately cropped, but still covers waistband.

Designed to fit very airy, blousy, and loose when true to size, try ordering one size down if you prefer a more fitted look.

All fabrics offered on this page are lightweight cotton, perfect for hotter seasons and warm environments.

Color Notes: "Koi" is a bright pure white, the dark color of the fish is navy. "Sailboat" background is an ivory off-white.
