Made from cotton lawn with a charming retro print called "Cigar Box", tans and browns share similar color stories with tobaccos and wood tones. The scale of the print gives it a feed-sacks-and-sepia-tones early 20th century vibe.
Elastic gathered neckline. Freely drapes over the torso with a loose blousy fit. Elastic cuff sits past the elbow. Moderate length can be tucked in.
Fit notes: Order true to size.
Best Care: Machine wash cold with like colors. For a wonderfully rumpled appearance, tumble dry on low heat with fabric softener and remove immediately after tumbling. For a crisp appearance, air dry and then iron or steam on cotton setting. Avoid hIgher temperatures that will excessively shrink natural fibers.

I’m a longtime sewist of many clothes for myself and for grandchildren. At 64, I am no longer interested in clothes that don’t fit my lifestyle and me. I like to supplement my own makes with beautifully made separates, that I can mix and match with what I have, and represent a love for color and beautiful fabrics. In this case, I love the cornflower body of the shirt, and the textured fabric of the sleeves. The shirt fits me perfectly! I’m 60 and I’m more comfortable with a longer sleeve. National Picnic was able to accommodate my request for a slightly longer sleeve. The fabric is beautiful and makes me feel pretty! Thank you!

This is more like a long sleeve tee than some of the thicker versions of this sweatshirty-shaped style, designed with roomy armholes and torso so it can be layered as a lightweight overlayer if needed.
Narrower cut on the forearms balances out the roomy torso, so sleeves stay in place when they are pushed up. Ample, long sleeves.
Made to order, allow about a week to sew before shipping. You can select "petite" for a shorter arm length, it is cut a cuff length shorter, by appx. 3".

Color "chambray" is a soft black and arrives without any factory-made distressing. It will develop a broken in washed look with your own wear.
Adjustable tie neck, elastic around the bust. Bias cut and completely ignores your waistline with a swingy front—and sleeveless, this is the most easily fitted dress we can offer.
HIts right above the knee. It's got pockets. It isn't lined. Fabrics have been selected for their opacity so one can wear without a bra. If you aren't comfortable without a bra, pair with a bandeau style bra or alternative tapes/adhesive support.
Fit notes: Choose your size based on your tops measurement. If you tend to be in between sizes, size down.
