Tees and dresses from this late summer collection share the same navy knit body, a mildly slubby-textured organic cotton/hemp/spandex blend.
This particular fabric combo:
"Strut In Blue": The popular peacock feather sleeve, but new, in blue.
Sleeves are delicate peacock feathers in an organized linear placement. That's metallic ink that you see in the feather— the amount of gold is quietly fabulous.
Cotton sleeve. Quality medium weight organic jersey knit uses gentle, sustainable dyes with a softer, muted appearance.
Sleeve: 100% Cotton
Knit: 55% Hemp 40% Organic cotton 5% Spandex
Machine wash cold, air dry flat. Warm iron if needed.
Made in the USA of imported fabric.
About every signature tee:
You could say this tee has a "boyfriend fit", but don't think it's unisex, it's been designed for a woman's curves.
It's designed to drape loosely over the torso when worn true to size. It's not meant to fit snugly, but the rule of thumb is order down if you want some curves around the bust. If tight is how you roll, this is not the tee for you.
Since the brand's beginning in 2011, National Picnic Signature Tees have been reinvented with new fabrics each season. Starting in 2018, new tees in the series will be numbered so limited editions can be followed and catalogued as they come and go.
Fabrics used in signature tees can vary slightly in fiber content, drape and feel, which can make a version appear to fit slightly larger or smaller—but know that each signature tee is cut from the same pattern. Differences are noted in each listing. Rarity and exceptional fabrics can affect pricing of special tees in the Signature series.
